Shenzhen → East Africa

Your requirement, sourced and shipped.

Energy infrastructure, smart classrooms and commercial display — bought in China, delivered to East Africa. We write the specification, verify the factory, inspect the batch and get it landed. One partner, accountable from the first email to the site.

What we supply

We are a sourcing company, not a catalogue.

Three lines, one back office. Each line has its own buyer, its own budget cycle and its own way of going wrong — which is why we keep them separate in the field and shared in the paperwork.

01 — Energy infrastructure

Replace costly diesel. Avoid the transformer upgrade.

On most East African sites the problem is not that power is unavailable. It is that the available power is expensive, unreliable, or both. Diesel runs at a cost per kWh that no solar-plus-storage system can match once the asset is financed over its life.

  • Containerised C&I and utility-scale battery storage
  • PV generation, carport and rooftop, sized against your load
  • DC fast charging and integrated charging stations
  • Electric two-wheelers and fleet units, with charging quoted together

02 — Education technology

Four layers, because that is how schools buy.

A classroom is not a screen. It is furniture, power, network, content, teacher training and a maintenance plan that survives the first school holiday. We supply the layers separately so a ministry can buy one at a time, and together so a single room can be delivered complete.

  • Smart classrooms — interactive panels, podiums, recording
  • Course, assessment and knowledge-graph platforms
  • VR and AR training for TVET and technical colleges
  • Education robotics and lab kits

03 — Commercial display

Two layers, two buyers, two failure modes.

A boardroom and a public atrium are bought by different people, installed by different crews and fail in different ways. One is a procurement decision; the other is a construction decision with a power and structure study attached.

  • Interactive flat panels and collaboration systems
  • Fine-pitch LED walls for lobbies, auditoriums and control rooms
  • Room-level standardisation across multiple sites
  • Remote management and spare-panel provisioning
How we work

Four steps between your requirement and your container.

You do not need a specification to start. A site, a room, a fleet or a budget line is enough. Producing the specification is our job — and so is telling you when the numbers do not work.

01

Requirement

A site visit, a room, a fleet, a budget line, or a problem nobody has solved yet. Written, spoken, or a photo on WhatsApp.

02

Specification

We turn it into something a factory can quote, and show you where the cost actually sits.

03

Factory and sample

We visit, we test, we send you the sample before you commit. Verified factories, not search results.

04

Inspection and freight

AQL inspection before it leaves. Documents that clear at Mombasa, Dar es Salaam or Djibouti.

Who you will be dealing with

The difference is not the supplier list. It is who is accountable when something fails.

Most sourcing companies in this market are intermediaries. They forward a requirement, mark up a quotation, and go quiet when the container arrives wrong.

Before founding Shenzhen Chume Technology, Jossa Jiang spent six years with ZTE Corporation in East Africa — working across Tanzania, Kenya and Rwanda, and later serving as Country Manager for Kenya and head of the East Africa region. He has sat on both sides of a project: the side that approves the budget, and the side that has to deliver against it.

Where we work

East Africa, with the paperwork done in Shenzhen.

We work where our network is real — operators, ministries, regulators and channel partners who will take a call and tell us the truth about a site before we quote it.

Start here

Send a written requirement. That is enough to start.

A site, a room, a fleet, a budget line, or a problem that has not been solved yet. You do not need a specification — producing one is our job. Quotations are issued against a written requirement, and samples are available before any volume commitment.
